Artist Bio:
Johnny Cash and The Tennessee Three was a country music band that was formed by Johnny Cash in 1957. The band's original lineup consisted of Johnny Cash on vocals and rhythm guitar, Luther Perkins on electric guitar, and Marshall Grant on bass. The trio was known for its distinctive sound, characterized by a steady boom-chicka-boom rhythm provided by Perkins' guitar playing.

The Tennessee Three played on many of Johnny Cash's biggest hits, including "I Walk the Line" and "Ring of Fire." The band was a key element in Cash's success and popularity during the 1950s and 1960s. They remained together until Cash disbanded the group in 1968. Despite the band's breakup, their influence on country music is still felt today, and they are remembered as an integral part of Johnny Cash's iconic sound.
