Johnny Cash, born on February 26, 1932, in Kingsland, Arkansas, was an American singer, songwriter, and actor who is considered one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century. Cash's career spanned over five decades, during which he released numerous hit songs, including "I Walk the Line," "Ring of Fire," and "Folsom Prison Blues."

However, he later experienced a career resurgence in the 1990s with the release of albums like "American Recordings," produced by Rick Rubin.
