Johnny Cash was an American singer, songwriter, and actor, born on February 26, 1932, in Kingsland, Arkansas. Known as the "Man in Black," Cash is considered one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century, with a career spanning over five decades. He was known for his deep, distinctive voice and his fusion of country, rock and roll, and gospel music.


Cash's career included numerous hit songs, including "I Walk the Line," "Ring of Fire," and "Folsom Prison Blues." He was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the Gospel Music Hall of Fame. Cash also acted in films and television shows, most notably in the biopic "Walk the Line," which depicted his life and career. Johnny Cash passed away on September 12, 2003, but his legacy continues to inspire generations of musicians and fans worldwide.
