Jon Bon Jovi is an American singer, songwriter, and actor, best known as the founder and frontman of the rock band Bon Jovi. He was born on March 2, 1962, in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. Bon Jovi formed the band in 1983, and they have since released numerous successful albums, including "Slippery When Wet" and "New Jersey."

Aside from his music career, Jon Bon Jovi has also pursued acting, appearing in films such as "Moonlight and Valentino" and "U-571." He is known for his philanthropic work, including founding the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation, which aims to combat issues such as homelessness and hunger.
