Jon Secada is a Cuban-American singer and songwriter who rose to fame in the early 1990s. He was born on October 4, 1961, in Havana, Cuba, and immigrated to the United States as a child. Secada is known for his smooth tenor voice and his ability to blend pop and Latin music influences in his songs. He is also a talented musician, playing the piano and guitar in addition to singing.
Secada released his self-titled debut album in 1992, which included hits such as "Just Another Day" and "Do You Believe in Us." He has won multiple Grammy Awards for his music, including Best Latin Pop Album for his Spanish-language album "Amor" in 2003. In addition to his successful music career, Secada has also appeared as a coach on the TV show "Latin American Idol."
