Jonathan King is a British music entrepreneur, singer-songwriter, and record producer, born on December 6, 1944. He is best known for his hit song "Everyone's Gone to the Moon," which reached the top 5 in the UK and US charts in 1965. King also founded UK Records in 1972, a successful record label that signed notable artists such as 10cc and Genesis. In addition to his music career, King has worked as a television and radio presenter, as well as a writer and producer for various media outlets.


In 2001, Jonathan King was convicted of sexual offenses involving underage boys and sentenced to seven years in prison. Despite his legal troubles, King has continued to release music and maintain a public presence in the entertainment industry. His controversial personal life has often overshadowed his musical accomplishments.
