Journey is an American rock band formed in San Francisco in 1973. The band's original members included Neal Schon, Gregg Rolie, Ross Valory, George Tickner, and Prairie Prince. Journey achieved commercial success in the late 1970s and 1980s with a series of hit songs and albums, including "Don't Stop Believin'," "Any Way You Want It," and "Open Arms." The band is known for their melodic rock sound and soaring ballads, as well as their energetic live performances.
Journey has undergone several lineup changes over the years, with Neal Schon being the only constant member. The band has sold over 75 million records worldwide and has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Journey continues to tour and release new music, with their most recent studio album, "Eclipse," being released in 2011.
