Artist Bio:
Jr. Walker & The All Stars were an American soul and R&B band formed in the mid-1960s. The group's frontman and namesake, Junior Walker, was a prominent saxophonist who also provided lead vocals for many of their songs. The band's sound was characterized by Walker's soulful saxophone playing and gritty vocal delivery, backed by a tight rhythm section and energetic horn arrangements. They achieved commercial success with hits such as "Shotgun" and "What Does It Take (To Win Your Love)", which both reached the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Jr. Walker & The All Stars were signed to the Motown record label and were known for their high-energy live performances. They were inducted into the Michigan Rock and Roll Legends Hall of Fame in 2010. Despite various lineup changes over the years, Jr. Walker & The All Stars continued to perform and record music until Junior Walker's passing in 1995. Their music remains influential in the realms of soul, R&B, and rock music.
