Jr. Walker & The All Stars was an American Motown soul and R&B band formed in the mid-1960s. The group was led by saxophonist and vocalist Junior Walker, who was known for his distinctive and energetic saxophone playing. The band's lineup also included musicians such as Willie Woods, James Graves, and Vic Thomas. Jr. Walker & The All Stars achieved commercial success with hits like "Shotgun" and "What Does It Take (To Win Your Love)".


The band was known for their high-energy live performances and Walker's gritty vocals combined with his soulful saxophone playing. Jr. Walker & The All Stars were inducted into the Rhythm and Blues Music Hall of Fame in 2013, recognizing their contributions to the soul and R&B music genres. Despite lineup changes over the years, the band continued to tour and perform until Walker's passing in 1995.
