Artist Bio:
Jr. Walker & The All Stars was an American soul and R&B band formed in the mid-1960s. The group was led by saxophonist and vocalist Junior Walker, whose raspy, soulful voice and energetic saxophone playing were defining elements of the band's sound. The All Stars were known for their dynamic live performances and their ability to blend elements of soul, R&B, and rock music into a unique and infectious style.

The band's biggest hit came in 1965 with the song "Shotgun," which reached number four on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. They continued to release successful singles throughout the 1960s and 1970s, including "What Does It Take (To Win Your Love)" and "How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved by You)." Jr. Walker & The All Stars were inducted into the Rhythm and Blues Music Hall of Fame in 2012, recognizing their contributions to the soul and R&B music genres.
