Jr. Walker & The All Stars was an American soul and R&B band formed in the mid-1960s. The group was led by saxophonist and vocalist Autry DeWalt Mixon Jr., known professionally as Jr. Walker. Their most famous hit was the 1965 song "Shotgun," which reached number four on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The band was known for their energetic performances and Walker's distinctive saxophone playing, which set them apart in the Motown music scene.
Jr. Walker & The All Stars continued to release successful singles throughout the 1960s and 1970s, including "What Does It Take (To Win Your Love)" and "Come See About Me."
