Artist Bio:
Jr. Walker & The All Stars were an American soul and R&B band formed in the mid-1960s. The group's frontman was saxophonist and vocalist Junior Walker, whose raspy voice and energetic saxophone playing were distinctive features of their sound. The All Stars included musicians such as Willie Woods on guitar, Vic Thomas on keyboard, and James Graves on drums.


The band's biggest hit came in 1965 with the song "Shotgun," which reached the top spot on the R&B charts and the top five on the Billboard Hot 100. Jr. Walker & The All Stars continued to achieve success throughout the 1960s and 1970s with hits like "What Does It Take (To Win Your Love)" and "How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)." They were known for their energetic live performances and soulful sound, which made them a popular act in the Motown music scene.
