June Valli was an American singer who was born on June 30, 1928, in the Bronx, New York. She began her career in the late 1940s and gained popularity in the 1950s with her smooth and versatile vocal style. Valli signed with RCA Victor Records and released several successful singles, including "Crying in the Chapel" and "Unchained Melody."


Valli also appeared in a few films, such as "The Girl Can't Help It" in 1956. She continued to perform and record music throughout the 1960s before gradually stepping away from the spotlight. June Valli passed away on March 12, 1993, in Fort Lee, New Jersey, leaving behind a legacy of timeless music that continues to be enjoyed by fans of traditional pop and easy listening genres.
