June Valli was an American singer born on June 30, 1928, in the Bronx, New York. She gained popularity in the 1950s for her smooth and versatile vocal talents, which allowed her to perform a wide range of musical genres, including pop, jazz, and traditional Italian songs. Valli's breakthrough came in 1953 when she signed with RCA Records and released her hit single "Crying in the Chapel," which reached the top 5 on the Billboard pop chart.


Valli continued to record and perform throughout the 1950s and 1960s, appearing on various television shows and in films. She also had success with songs like "Unchained Melody" and "Why Don't You Believe Me." Despite her success in the music industry, Valli eventually stepped away from her singing career to focus on her family. June Valli passed away on March 12, 1993, leaving behind a legacy of memorable performances and timeless music.
