Valli's breakthrough came in 1953 when she signed with RCA Records and released her hit single "Crying in the Chapel," which reached the top 5 on the Billboard pop chart.

She also had success with songs like "Unchained Melody" and "Why Don't You Believe Me." Despite her success in the music industry, Valli eventually stepped away from her singing career to focus on her family.
