Artist Bio:
The Kalin Twins were an American pop music duo consisting of identical twin brothers, Harold Kalin and Herbert Kalin, born on February 16, 1934, in Port Jervis, New York. They rose to fame in the late 1950s with their hit song "When," which reached number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1958. The song was their biggest success and has since become a classic of the era.
Following the success of "When," the Kalin Twins released several more singles but never achieved the same level of commercial success. They continued to perform and record music throughout the 1960s, but eventually faded from the music scene. Despite their relatively short-lived career, the Kalin Twins left a mark on the music industry with their harmonious vocals and catchy tunes. Herbert Kalin passed away on July 24, 2005, and Harold Kalin passed away on August 24, 2005.
