The band's original lineup consisted of members Kerry Livgren, Phil Ehart, Dave Hope, Robby Steinhardt, Steve Walsh, and Richard Williams. Known for their unique blend of progressive rock and hard rock, Kansas achieved mainstream success in the 1970s and 1980s with hit songs like "Carry on Wayward Son" and "Dust in the Wind."


Throughout their career, Kansas has released over a dozen studio albums, with their most successful being their fourth album, "Leftoverture," released in 1976. The album reached platinum status and solidified the band's place in rock music history. Kansas continues to tour and perform to this day, with a dedicated fan base that appreciates their intricate musical arrangements and powerful live performances.
