Keane is a British alternative rock band formed in 1995 in Battle, East Sussex. The band consists of Tom Chaplin on vocals, Tim Rice-Oxley on piano, Richard Hughes on drums, and Jesse Quin on bass. Keane gained popularity with their debut album "Hopes and Fears" released in 2004, which included hit singles like "Somewhere Only We Know," "Everybody's Changing," and "Bedshaped."
Known for their piano-driven sound and emotive lyrics, Keane has released a total of five studio albums, with their most recent being "Cause and Effect" in 2019. The band has received critical acclaim and commercial success, winning several awards including a BRIT Award for Best British Album in 2005. Keane has toured extensively around the world and continues to be recognized for their distinctive sound and captivating live performances.
