Artist Bio:
Kenny Ball and his Jazzmen were a British jazz band led by trumpeter Kenny Ball. The group was formed in 1958 and gained popularity in the 1960s with their upbeat and lively performances. They were known for their traditional Dixieland jazz sound, characterized by a strong rhythm section and melodic improvisation.


Kenny Ball and his Jazzmen achieved commercial success with hits such as "Midnight in Moscow" and "Samantha," which both reached the top 3 in the UK singles chart. The band toured extensively, both in the UK and internationally, and appeared on television shows such as The Morecambe and Wise Show. Kenny Ball and his Jazzmen continued to perform and record music until Kenny Ball's passing in 2013.
