Their most well-known song is "Dancing in the Moonlight," which was released in 1972. The song became a hit, reaching number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and has since been covered by various artists.
Despite the success of "Dancing in the Moonlight," King Harvest was unable to replicate the same level of commercial success with their other releases. The band eventually disbanded in the mid-1970s.
