KISS is an American rock band formed in New York City in 1973. The band is known for their elaborate live performances which often include fire-breathing, blood-spitting, smoking guitars, and pyrotechnics. The original lineup of the band consisted of Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley, and Peter Criss.
KISS has released over 20 studio albums and is known for their iconic makeup and costumes. Some of their most popular songs include "Rock and Roll All Nite," "Detroit Rock City," and "I Was Made for Lovin' You." The band has sold over 75 million records in the United States and has been awarded multiple gold and platinum certifications. KISS was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014.
