Artist Bio:
KISS is an American rock band formed in New York City in 1973. The group is known for their elaborate live performances, which often include fire breathing, blood-spitting, smoking guitars, and pyrotechnics. The original lineup consisted of Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley, and Peter Criss. They are best known for their trademark face paint and costumes, with each member adopting a unique persona: The Starchild (Stanley), The Demon (Simmons), The Spaceman (Frehley), and The Catman (Criss).
KISS has released numerous hit songs such as "Rock and Roll All Nite," "Detroit Rock City," and "I Was Made for Lovin' You." They have sold over 100 million records worldwide, making them one of the best-selling bands of all time. KISS was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014 and continues to tour and perform to this day, with Stanley and Simmons being the only remaining original members.
