Kallen began her singing career at a young age, and by the age of 17, she was already performing with popular bands such as Jack Teagarden and Harry James.


In the 1950s, Kitty Kallen had several hit songs, including "Little Things Mean a Lot" and "It's Been a Long, Long Time." She was known for her smooth and melodic voice, which captured the hearts of many listeners. Kallen's music career spanned several decades, and she continued to perform and record music until the 1980s. Kitty Kallen passed away on January 7, 2016, leaving behind a legacy as a talented and beloved singer from the Golden Age of American popular music.
