Artist Bio:
Klymaxx was an all-female R&B and pop band that formed in Los Angeles in the late 1970s. The group was known for their hits in the 1980s, including "Meeting in the Ladies Room" and "I Miss You". Klymaxx had a unique sound that blended R&B, pop, and funk elements, and they were one of the few all-female bands of their time to achieve success in the male-dominated music industry. The band's lineup changed over the years, but some of the original members included Bernadette Cooper, Lorena Porter Shelby, and Joyce "Fenderella" Irby.
Klymaxx released several albums throughout the 1980s and early 1990s, including their most successful album "Meeting in the Ladies Room" in 1984. The group disbanded in the early 1990s but has reunited for various performances and tours since then. Klymaxx's music continues to be enjoyed by fans of 80s R&B and pop music, and they are remembered as trailblazers for female musicians in the industry.
