Artist Bio:
Korn is an American nu-metal band formed in 1993 in Bakersfield, California. The band's original lineup consisted of vocalist Jonathan Davis, guitarists James "Munky" Shaffer and Brian "Head" Welch, bassist Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu, and drummer David Silveria. Korn is known for their unique blend of heavy metal and hip-hop, which helped popularize the nu-metal genre in the late 1990s. They have released multiple critically acclaimed albums, including their self-titled debut album in 1994, "Follow the Leader" in 1998, and "Issues" in 1999.


Korn has achieved commercial success with several of their albums going multi-platinum and landing in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart. The band has also won two Grammy Awards and has been nominated for several others. Over the years, Korn has maintained a dedicated fan base and has toured extensively around the world. Despite lineup changes and personal struggles among band members, Korn continues to be a prominent figure in the metal music scene.
