Artist Bio:
L.A. Style was a Dutch electronic music project formed in the early 1990s. The group was composed of the producers Wessel van Diepen and Michiel Van Der Kuy. Their most well-known track is "James Brown Is Dead," released in 1991, which became a huge hit in the electronic dance music scene. The song is considered a classic in the techno and rave genres, and it helped to popularize the emerging electronic music scene in Europe at the time.

Despite their success with "James Brown Is Dead," L.A. Style did not release many other notable tracks and eventually disbanded in the mid-1990s. However, their impact on the electronic music scene is enduring, and their signature track continues to be played in clubs and at electronic music festivals around the world.
