She rose to fame in the 1980s with hits like "Gloria," "Self Control," and "How Am I Supposed to Live Without You." Branigan's powerful voice and energetic performances helped her establish herself as a successful pop artist during that decade.


Branigan released several albums throughout her career and received Grammy Award nominations for her music. She also ventured into acting, appearing in television shows like "CHiPs" and "Automan." Tragically, Branigan passed away on August 26, 2004, at the age of 52 due to a brain aneurysm.
