Artist Bio:
Laura Branigan was an American singer, songwriter, and actress known for her powerful voice and hits in the 1980s. She was born on July 3, 1952, in Mount Kisco, New York, and began her music career performing in musicals and as a backing vocalist for various artists. Branigan achieved mainstream success with her 1982 debut single "All Night With Me" and gained international fame with the release of her smash hit "Gloria" in 1982.


Branigan's other notable hits include "Self Control," "Solitaire," and "How Am I Supposed to Live Without You." She received Grammy Award nominations for her music and also appeared in films and television shows throughout her career. Branigan tragically passed away on August 26, 2004, at the age of 52 due to a brain aneurysm. Despite her untimely death, her music continues to be celebrated and remembered by her fans around the world.
