Led Zeppelin was an English rock band formed in London in 1968. The group consisted of guitarist Jimmy Page, singer Robert Plant, bassist and keyboardist John Paul Jones, and drummer John Bonham. They are considered one of the most influential and successful rock bands in history, known for their heavy, guitar-driven sound that incorporated elements of blues, folk, and psychedelic music. Led Zeppelin's iconic songs include "Stairway to Heaven," "Whole Lotta Love," and "Kashmir."


Led Zeppelin's self-titled debut album was released in 1969 and achieved commercial success. Throughout their career, they released a total of nine studio albums, with many of them reaching multi-platinum status. Led Zeppelin's live performances were legendary for their energy and improvisation, earning them a reputation as one of the best live bands of all time. The band disbanded in 1980 following the death of John Bonham, but their music continues to influence generations of rock musicians.
