Leif Garrett is an American singer, actor, and television personality who rose to fame as a teen idol in the 1970s. He was born on November 8, 1961, in Hollywood, California. Garrett began his career as a child actor, appearing in numerous television shows and films, including "Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice" and "Walking Tall."


In addition to his acting career, Garrett also pursued a music career, releasing several albums in the late 1970s and early 1980s. He is best known for his hit single "I Was Made for Dancin'," which reached the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Despite his early success, Garrett's career was overshadowed by personal struggles, including drug addiction and legal issues. He has since made appearances on reality television shows and continues to perform music.
