Len Barry, born Leonard Borisoff on June 12, 1942, is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. He first gained fame as a member of the doo-wop group The Dovells, known for their hit song "Bristol Stomp" in 1961. Barry eventually left the group to pursue a solo career, signing with Decca Records and achieving success with his solo single "1-2-3" in 1965. The song reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and was certified gold.


Barry continued to release music throughout the 1960s, with songs like "Like a Baby" and "Somewhere" achieving moderate success. He also found success as a songwriter, penning hits for artists like The Drifters and The Monkees. Len Barry's music career slowed down in the 1970s, but he remains a respected figure in the music industry for his contributions to the pop and soul genres.
