Lighthouse was one of the first rock bands in Canada to feature a full horn section, giving them a distinctive sound. The band released several albums throughout the 1970s, including their self-titled debut album in 1969, which featured their most well-known hit, "One Fine Morning."

The band received critical acclaim for their musicianship and innovative sound, earning them a loyal fan base in Canada and beyond.
