Lighthouse was a Canadian rock band formed in 1968 in Toronto, Ontario. The band's music was a unique fusion of rock, jazz, and classical influences, featuring a powerful brass section alongside traditional rock instrumentation. Lighthouse was known for their energetic live performances and intricate musical arrangements, which set them apart from other bands of the era.


Throughout their career, Lighthouse released several albums including their self-titled debut in 1969, which featured their hit single "One Fine Morning." The band achieved commercial success in Canada and the United States, earning Juno Awards for Group of the Year in 1972 and 1973. Lighthouse disbanded in 1976 but reunited in the 1990s for various performances and recordings. Their music continues to be celebrated for its innovative blend of genres and dynamic stage presence.
