Artist Bio:
The Lightning Seeds are an English alternative rock band formed by Ian Broudie in 1989. Broudie is the band's lead vocalist, guitarist, and producer. The band's name was inspired by the line "I'm in a field, I have a name, I'm the ressurection" from the song "Pure" by The Lightning Seeds. The Lightning Seeds achieved commercial success in the 1990s with their catchy pop-rock sound and memorable hooks. Their most well-known songs include "Pure", "The Life of Riley", and "Three Lions", which became an anthem for English football fans during the 1996 European Championships.

Over the years, the Lightning Seeds have released several albums, with their debut album "Cloudcuckooland" being released in 1990. The band's music is characterized by upbeat, melodic tunes and Broudie's distinctive vocals. While they have not released new material in recent years, the Lightning Seeds continue to tour and perform live, maintaining a dedicated fan base who appreciate their infectious pop-rock sound.
