Lil Bow Wow, born Shad Gregory Moss on March 9, 1987, is an American rapper, actor, and television host. He first gained recognition as a child rapper in the late 1990s, being discovered by rapper Snoop Dogg. In 2000, he released his debut album, "Beware of Dog," which featured the hit single "Bounce with Me." The album was a commercial success, reaching double platinum status in the United States.
Throughout his career, Lil Bow Wow released several successful albums, including "Doggy Bag" in 2001 and "Unleashed" in 2003. He also ventured into acting, appearing in films such as "Like Mike" and "Roll Bounce." In addition to his music and acting career, he has hosted television shows such as "106 & Park" on BET. Despite changing his stage name to Bow Wow in 2002, he is still widely known as Lil Bow Wow by fans.
