Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam was a freestyle music group formed in 1984. The lead singer, Lisa Lisa (born Lisa Velez), was joined by two other members, Alex "Spanador" Moseley and Mike Hughes. The group's music combined elements of pop, R&B, and dance music, and they found success in the mid to late 1980s with hits like "I Wonder If I Take You Home" and "Head to Toe."

Full Force was an American R&B group and production team known for their work with Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam. The group consisted of six members, including three brothers: Paul Anthony, Bowlegged Lou, and B-Fine. Full Force produced and wrote many of Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam's biggest hits, helping to propel the group to commercial success. The collaboration between Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam and Full Force resulted in several chart-topping singles and albums throughout the 1980s.
