They gained popularity in the mid-1980s with their blend of freestyle, dance-pop, and R&B music. Their debut album, "Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam with Full Force," was released in 1985 and featured hits like "I Wonder If I Take You Home." The group continued to find success with their subsequent albums, including "Spanish Fly," which spawned hits like "Lost In Emotion." Lisa Lisa And Cult Jam disbanded in the early 1990s, but their music continues to be celebrated for its catchy hooks and infectious beats.
