Lisa Loeb & Nine Stories is an American alternative rock band formed by singer-songwriter Lisa Loeb in 1994. The band's most well-known lineup included Lisa Loeb on vocals and guitar, Tim Bright on guitar, Jonathan Feinberg on drums, and Joe Quigley on bass. They released their debut album, "Tails," in 1995, which included the hit single "Stay (I Missed You)," that reached the top of the charts and earned Loeb a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals.
Following the success of "Tails," Lisa Loeb & Nine Stories released their second album, "Firecracker," in 1997. The album featured the single "I Do," which also received significant airplay. While the band eventually disbanded, Lisa Loeb continued to pursue a successful solo career, releasing multiple albums and continuing to perform as a singer-songwriter.
