Lit is an American rock band formed in Orange County, California in 1988. The band's lineup consists of brothers A. Jay and Jeremy Popoff, along with Kevin Baldes and Terry Stirling Jr. They gained popularity in the late 1990s and early 2000s with hits such as "My Own Worst Enemy," "Miserable," and "Zip-Lock." Lit is known for their energetic live performances and catchy, anthemic songs that blend elements of pop punk, alternative rock, and post-grunge.


Lit released their debut album, "Tripping the Light Fantastic," in 1997, followed by their breakthrough second album, "A Place in the Sun," in 1999, which achieved platinum certification. The band has continued to release music and tour over the years, with their most recent album, "These Are the Days," released in 2017. Lit has maintained a dedicated fanbase and continues to be a popular live act, frequently performing at music festivals and venues around the world.
