Little Anthony and the Imperials is an American rhythm and blues/soul vocal group formed in New York City in the 1950s. The group originally consisted of Jerome "Little Anthony" Gourdine, Clarence Collins, Ernest Wright, Tracy Lord, and Glouster "Nate" Rogers. They are known for their smooth harmonies and emotional vocal delivery, which helped them achieve success in the doo-wop and soul music genres.


Their biggest hits include "Tears on My Pillow," "Hurt So Bad," and "Goin' Out of My Head." Little Anthony and the Imperials were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2009, recognizing their impact on the music industry and their enduring popularity. Over the years, the group has experienced various lineup changes, but Little Anthony Gourdine has remained a constant member and continues to perform with the Imperials.
