Little Anthony and The Imperials is an American rhythm and blues/soul vocal group formed in New York City in the late 1950s. The group is fronted by Jerome "Little Anthony" Gourdine, known for his powerful falsetto voice. The original lineup of the group included Clarence Collins, Ernest Wright, Tracy Lord, and Glouster "Nate" Rogers.
The group achieved commercial success in the 1960s with hits such as "Tears on My Pillow," "Hurt So Bad," and "Goin' Out of My Head." They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2009. Little Anthony and The Imperials have continued to perform and tour over the years, solidifying their legacy as one of the pioneering vocal groups in the history of American music.
