Little Anthony and the Imperials is an American rhythm and blues/soul vocal group that was formed in New York City in the late 1950s. The group originally consisted of lead singer Jerome "Little Anthony" Gourdine, Clarence Collins, Ernest Wright, Glouster "Nate" Rogers, and Tracey Lord. They are best known for their hits in the 1960s, including "Tears on My Pillow," "Goin' Out of My Head," and "Hurt So Bad."
The group's smooth harmonies and Little Anthony's powerful falsetto vocals helped them stand out in the music scene of the time. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2009, recognizing their influence and contributions to the genre.
