Little Bill and The Bluenotes was a rhythm and blues band formed in 1956 in Tacoma, Washington. The band was led by "Little Bill" Engelhart, who was the vocalist and pianist. The Bluenotes were known for their energetic live performances and their unique blend of rhythm and blues, rock and roll, and doo-wop music. They gained popularity in the Pacific Northwest music scene during the 1960s and 1970s.


Little Bill and The Bluenotes released several albums and singles throughout their career, including the popular song "I Love an Angel." The band's music was characterized by Engelhart's soulful vocals and the tight instrumentation provided by The Bluenotes.
