Little Carl Carlton is an American soul singer who is best known for his hit song "Everlasting Love." Born in Detroit, Michigan in 1953, Carlton began his music career at a young age, recording his first single at just 14 years old. He signed with the iconic record label, Back Beat Records, in the late 1960s and released his most successful single, "Everlasting Love," in 1974. The song reached number 6 on the Billboard R&B chart and remains a classic in the soul music genre.


Despite his early success, Carlton struggled to replicate the same level of commercial success with his subsequent releases. However, he continued to perform and record music throughout the years, gaining a dedicated following among soul music enthusiasts.
