Little Jr. Parker, born as Herman Parker Jr. on March 27, 1932, in West Memphis, Arkansas, was an American blues musician. He was a talented singer, harmonica player, and songwriter who gained recognition for his unique blend of blues, R&B, and soul music. Parker started his music career in the 1940s and became known for hits like "Next Time You See Me" and "Driving Wheel."
In the 1950s and 1960s, Little Jr. Parker recorded for several record labels, including Sun Records and Duke Records. He was known for his smooth vocals and distinctive harmonica playing style. Parker's music influenced many artists and continues to be celebrated in the blues community. Unfortunately, he passed away on November 18, 1971, in Blue Island, Illinois, but his legacy lives on through his recordings and the impact he made on the blues genre.
