Little Milton, born James Milton Campbell Jr., was an American blues singer and guitarist. He was born on September 7, 1934, in Mississippi and began his musical career in the 1950s. Little Milton was known for his soulful voice and powerful guitar playing, which helped him gain recognition in the blues world. He signed with the iconic Chess Records in 1961 and released several successful singles and albums during his time with the label.
One of Little Milton's most famous songs is "We're Gonna Make It," which reached number one on the Billboard R&B chart in 1965. He continued to record and perform throughout his career, earning a reputation as a talented and versatile musician. Little Milton was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame in 1988 and continued to be a respected figure in the blues community until his passing on August 4, 2005.
