Little Milton, born James Milton Campbell Jr. in 1934 in Mississippi, was an American blues and soul singer and guitarist. He began his music career in the 1950s, recording for Sun Records before moving to Chess Records where he released some of his most successful songs. Known for his smooth vocals and powerful guitar skills, Little Milton was influenced by blues legends like B.B. King and T-Bone Walker. He had a string of hits, including "We're Gonna Make It" and "Grits Ain't Groceries (All Around the World)," which helped him establish himself as a prominent figure in the blues and soul music scene.


Throughout his career, Little Milton received numerous awards and accolades for his contributions to music, including being inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame. He continued to record and perform live up until his passing in 2005, leaving behind a legacy of soulful, heartfelt music that continues to inspire and influence artists in the blues and soul genres.
