Artist Bio:
Live is an American rock band formed in York, Pennsylvania in 1984. The band's original lineup consisted of Ed Kowalczyk (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Chad Taylor (lead guitar, backing vocals), Patrick Dahlheimer (bass), and Chad Gracey (drums). Live gained popularity in the 1990s with hits like "Lightning Crashes," "I Alone," and "All Over You." Their second album, "Throwing Copper," released in 1994, was a major commercial success, reaching number one on the Billboard 200 chart and selling over 8 million copies in the United States.

Live's music is characterized by Kowalczyk's powerful and emotive vocals, as well as the band's alternative rock sound with influences of post-grunge and hard rock. They have released a total of eight studio albums, with their most recent being "The Turn" in 2014. Live has undergone several lineup changes over the years, with Kowalczyk leaving the band in 2009 and being replaced by Chris Shinn, before reuniting with the original members in 2016.
