Artist Bio:
Living in a Box was a British band formed in 1985. The group consisted of lead vocalist Richard Darbyshire, drummer Anthony Critchlow, and keyboardist Marcus Vere. Their self-titled debut album, released in 1987, reached number 25 on the UK Albums Chart and featured their biggest hit single, "Living in a Box," which peaked at number 5 on the UK Singles Chart and number 17 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States. The band's music was a blend of pop, dance, and new wave elements.

Living in a Box released two more albums, "Gatecrashing" in 1989 and "Room in Your Heart" in 1991, before disbanding in the early 1990s. Despite their relatively short-lived success, Living in a Box remains a notable band from the late 1980s music scene with their catchy pop tunes and distinctive sound.
