Amerie is an American singer-songwriter, actress, and producer. Born Amerie Mi Marie Rogers on January 12, 1980, in Washington, D.C., she gained recognition for her debut album "All I Have" in 2002, which featured the hit single "Why Don't We Fall in Love." LL Cool J and Amerie collaborated on the song "Paradise," which was included on LL Cool J's album "10" released in 2002. The song was well-received and showcased Amerie's smooth vocals alongside LL Cool J's signature rap style.
