Lonestar is an American country music band formed in 1992 in Nashville, Tennessee. The band originally consisted of Richie McDonald (lead vocals), Michael Britt (lead guitar, backing vocals), Keech Rainwater (drums), Dean Sams (keyboards, backing vocals), and later added Cody Collins as the lead vocalist. Lonestar has released a number of successful albums including their self-titled debut album in 1995, which was certified platinum. Their second album, "Crazy Nights," released in 1997, produced their first No. 1 single, "No News."

Lonestar has charted more than 20 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, including nine that reached No. 1. Some of their biggest hits include "Amazed," "I'm Already There," and "My Front Porch Looking In." The band has won several awards, including Academy of Country Music Awards and Country Music Association Awards. Lonestar continues to tour and perform, delighting fans with their country music sound.
